About Henri & Gilles Buisson
The Buisson family has been present in the village of Saint Romain in the Cote d’Or since the twelfth century.
The Buisson family has been present in the village of Saint Romain in the Cote d’Or since the twelfth century.
Buisson owns three hectares of 60-year-old Pinot Noir planted between 300 and 380 meters of altitude in the west-facing Sous Roche vineyard. This site’s high limestone content and considerable altitude lend a sense of freshness to the wines produced here, but frequent warm air currents, combined with the age of the vines, contribute succulence and depth, making for a beautifully balanced and well-rounded red Burgundy.
