Terrevive Mare Rosso dell'Emilia

  • Red

A rare still wine from Gianluca, “Mare” comes from a single hectare of 70-year-old Lambrusco Marani planted in sandy loam soils. After a full de-stemming, the fruit for Mare undergoes semi-carbonic maceration in cement vats, after which point it is racked and aged six months in cement and given an additional year of rest in bottle before release. Light in alcohol (around 12%), Mare is simultaneously supple and intense, with an exuberant profile of crunchy red and black fruits and a house-typical level of cleansing acidity.
