Lame Delisle Boucard Nom de Zeus!!! Val de Loire Rouge

“Nom de Zeus” is an old-school French expression in the vein of “gadzooks” or “yowza”—and this cuvée is purposefully playful in spirit. Produced from younger vines of Cabernet Franc from throughout the domaine’s extensive holdings, it undergoes partial carbonic maceration and is bottled after a brief passage in stainless steel with no added sulfur. While it is indeed fresh, red-fruited, and exuberant, it maintains a deep and satisfying connection to the terroir of Bourgueil in its mineral frankness.
