Jerome Chezeaux Bourgogne Rouge Les Chassagnes

For the first time, in the 2022 vintage, Jérôme and Lyse separately vinified a 1972 planting of Pinot Noir in the Les Chassagnes vineyard just outside Vosne-Romanée, producing nine total barrels from this 0.35-hectare parcel. In keeping with its place of origin, this Bourgogne Rouge displays a precise, ringing minerality which beautifully supports its richly textured but focused fruit; it is simultaneously more elegant and more impactful than the classic Bourgogne Rouge cuvée above.
