About Domaine Forey Pere & Fils
This small but outstanding domaine was created in 1840 by the great-grandfather of Régis Forey, the current proprietaire.

Domaine Forey possesses a modest holding of 50-year-old Chardonnay in Vosne-Romanée, spread among three plots near the border of Nuits-Saint-Georges. Regis previously sold off the fruit from these sites in bulk each year, but under Quentin’s guidance the domaine began vinifying and bottling it with the 2023 harvest. After alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel, the wine is transferred to well-used 228-liter barrels for eight months, yielding a lively, precise, straightforward Bourgogne Blanc that nonetheless displays a mouthwatering mineral streak.
