About Chateau Les Mesclances
Owned by the ancestors of the Villeneuve Bergamon family since the early 16th century, Château Les Mesclances, has seen viticultural activity since the Roman Period.
This is comprised entirely of Rolle (also known as Vermentino) from multiple small parcels scattered throughout the wooded slopes of Château Les Mesclances 100-hectare property. The wine ferments with indigenous yeasts in stainless-steel tanks then spends one year in neutral barrique. It provides an ideal counterpoint to the rich culinary inventory of Provence: perfect partner to frog legs, garlic-rich stews, or grilled red mullets.
